A small group of members of our association participated in the ceremony at Beaumont-Hamel this Sunday, November 7th, 2021. The weather was perfect, we even enjoyed some rays of sunshine. The “Somme Battlefield Pipe Band” accompanied this tribute with pipes and drums.
Mrs. Anne Dubuc, our assistant secretary, accompanied by Mrs.Véronique Valet, worthily represented our association by laying a wreath in order to pay tribute to the brave Newfoundland soldiers.
