Remembrance day of nov. 11th, 2021

A ceremony was held on Nov. 11th, 2021 at the site of The Canadian National Vimy Memorial to celebrate the memory of the men and women who served their country and sacrificed themselves in the name of peace and freedom. This commemoration is called in Canada Remembrance Day.

Ocel Dauphinais-Matheson, our master of ceremonies, invited the various participants to speak.

Then came the moment of laying the wreaths, accompanied by the strains of the bagpipe.

Philippe Martin, our President, participated, on behalf of our association, in the laying of wreaths, accompanied by Marie-Claude Delporte, our treasurer.

Thus ended this beautiful ceremony.

Some pictures were kindly made available to us by Jeremy Bourdon.
